Fournier壊疽とは，会陰部，肛門周囲を中心に発症し急速に進行する予後不良の壊死性筋膜炎であり，治療では患部の可及的すみやかな徹底的デブリードマンが必須とされる．また，それに伴う組織欠損が広範囲となり，しばしば治療に難渋する症例も経験する．
