Objective: The objective of this research is to clarify what supported a person who suffered for Domestic Violence(DV)

Subject and Methodology: The subject is a person who suffered for DV. Along with the interview guide, we made half structured interviews to the subject from January 2005 to October 2005 and analyzed the results of the interviews with inductive and descriptive research methods.

Results: Following 3 main categories are extracted as the result of the analysis: 'subject's motive power', 'motherhood to protect child' and 'presence of the person who understand the subject well'. The 3 categories are composed of 9 sub-categories. 'Knowledge obtained by learning', 'confidence of own power', 'ability to look herself' and 'period to refresh' are the sub-categories of 'subject's motive power'. 'Responsibility as a mother' and 'love for the child' is the sub-categories of 'motherhood to protect child'. 'Brothers and sisters', 'professionals' and 'friends' are the sub-categories of 'presence of the person who understand the subject well'.

Conclusion: As the results, 'subject's motive power', 'motherhood to protect child' and 'presence of the person who understand the subject well' are affected largely to supporting the subject against DV. Those 3 categories serve to support the subject synergistically related to each other, then the subject can get into new step of life.
