Purpose: This study is aimed to clarify the progress and trends based on disaster nursing research priorities using the Delphi survey of 2010.

Methods: A literature search of databases was conducted; Ichushi-Web, comparison of studies up to 2010 with studies after 2011 using the keywords extracted from the Delphi survey in 2010; “preparation,” “system of coordination,” “support for vulnerable people providing relief efforts,” “mental health,” “disaster cycle,” “specific and multiple disasters,” “international,” “construction of disaster nursing (basic education).”

Results: The number of studies has increased overall. In particular, the number of cases related to “system of coordination” has risen rapidly. As for the trend after 2011, with respect to “preparation,” there has been the creation of manuals according to the target characteristics and diseases, “system of coordination” indicated the cooperation between various occupations and other fields, “support for vulnerable people providing relief efforts” is focused on child development, mothers, and the elderly population.

Conclusions: The progress and trends of current research are consistent with previous research priorities of urgent and significant research.
