作業バランス質問紙（Occupational Balance Questionnaire）の翻訳と言語的妥当性の検討

Translation and cross-cultural adaptation of the Japanese version of the Occupational Balance Questionnaire (OBQ)

要旨：作業バランスは，これまでの作業療法の歴史における最も重要な概念の1つである．本研究の目的は，スウェーデンで開発された作業バランスの尺度であるOccupational Balance Questionnaire（以下，OBQ）を翻訳し日本語版OBQの言語的妥当性を検討することであった．方法は，Beatonらの自己報告尺度の異文化適応プロセスのためのガイドラインおよびEpsteinらの推奨に準拠して行った．結果，原版の項目の意図を保ちつつ，わが国の文化に適した11項目の日本語版OBQが開発され，言語的妥当性が高まった．今後は，信頼性および妥当性の検討が望まれる．

　Occupational balance is one of the most important concepts in the history of occupational therapy. The purpose of this study was to develop and verify the feasibility of the Japanese version of the Occupational Balance Questionnaire (OBQ-J). The OBQ-J was developed according to the guidelines for the process of cross-cultural adaptation of self-report instruments and the recommendations of Epstein et al. As a result, eleven items were developed that maintained the intent of the original version, were appropriate to Japanese culture, and were valid in terms of linguistic validity. Further study is warranted to investigate the reliability and validity of the OBQ-J.
