特別養護老人ホームにおける作業療法士の役割についての認識—鹿児島県におけるアンケート調査

Awareness of roles of occupational therapists in nursing homes : A questionnaire investigation in Kagoshima prefecture

要旨：特別養護老人ホーム(以下，特養と略す)における作業療法士の役割についての認識を明らかにすることを主な目的に，鹿児島県内の104施設を対象としたアンケート調査を実施し，以下の結果が得られた．

　1．作業療法士に期待する役割は，施設ごとに異なり，作業療法士の役割についての認識は定まったものではなかった．

　2．特養は，作業療法士との関わりはほとんどなく，作業療法に関する情報も得にくい状況にあった．

　3．作業療法士についての意見として，専門的な立場で指導して欲しいという意見は見られたが，具体的な内容に言及したものはなかった．

　The purpose of this survey was to make clear the awareness of roles of occupational therapists in nursing homes.

　The questionnaire was given to directors of 104 facilities in Kagoshima prefecture from the middle of July to the middle of August, 1997.

　Results of the survey are as follows:

　1. Roles expected of ocuupational therapists in each facility were different. Thus roles of occupational therapists in nursing homes were not clearly defined.

　2. Most nursing homes did not have much contact with occupational therapists. And it was difficult for directors of nursing homes to obtain information about occupational therapy.

　3. There were some opinions that expressed the view of wanting advice from an ocuupational therapist's professional standpoint. But there were no opinions expressed about concrete roles of occupational therapists.
