家族指導用「家族生活力量アセスメントスケール療法士版」の紹介

Introducing a family functional assessment scale for family education

要旨：従来，療法士の家族指導は，各自の経験に基づいて行われることがほとんどであり，その対象の多くは主介護者であった．このため必要な家族指導を見落とすことも多く，これが退院後の家族と患者の戸惑いを生む要因であると感じていた．そこで，主介護者も含めた家族全体の状況・機能を包括的に評価・把握でき，誰もが簡便に使用可能な手法が必要と考えた．そして，「家族生活力量アセスメントスケール療法士版」を看護師が作成したものを参考にして開発した．本スケールを臨床の家族指導場面で使用することで，療法士に意識変化をもたらすことも明らかになってきている．今後は，本スケールの信頼性や妥当性の確認などを行っていく予定である．

　Until now, occupational therapists have done family assessment and family education based on their professional experience, and the major target of family education was the primary caregiver. However, this method overlooks an essential aspect of family education, namely the uneasiness of other family members and patients upon returning home from the hospital. Therefore, it is essential to understand the entire family's function in order to provide appropriate family education. Thus, we created an easy-to-use family functional assessment scale that is accessible to all members. Preexisting nursing assessment scales were used as references to create the scale. Currently, family education is carried out using this new scale, resulting in increased awareness on the part of occupational therapists. In the future we are going to confirm the reliability and validity of this scale.
