要旨：「陶芸」は精神科作業療法で一般的な活動である．筆者は急性期統合失調症に対して予後予測を行う『陶芸アルゴリズム（以下，CA）』フローチャートを作成した．アルゴリズムは対象関係理論を理論基盤としている．Winnicottの概念「ユニットの達成」，「思いやりを持つ能力」に着目し，CAで判定された各段階の作業療法についても分析した．本研究では5名の対象者にCAを用いて予後予測を行い，結果を検証した．予後予測と転帰は一致し，CAのデザインに矛盾は認められなかった．CAは急性期統合失調症の予後予測と情緒発達段階の判定に使用できる可能性を有していると考えられた．

　“Ceramics” is a general psychiatric occupational therapy activity.

　I developed a “ceramic algorithm (CA)” flowchart to estimate the prognosis of five patients suffering from acute schizophrenia. This algorithm uses Object Relations Theory as a theoretical basis.

　I focused on Winnicott's ideas of “Achievement of Unit” and “Development of the Capacity for Concern”, and I also analyzed each occupational therapy stage that was assessed by CA.

　The results were consistent with the estimate of prognosis, and the CA design had no contradictions. Thus, CA might be useful to judge stages of emotional developmental and prognosis in acute schizophrenia.
