◆要旨:Radius Surgical Systemは,マニュアルマニピュレータに分類され,電気エネルギーや大掛かりな装置を必要とせず,主にギヤ伝達機構で作動する.手動操作のみで簡便に鉗子先端の自由度を生み出すことが可能な画期的な内視鏡外科手術用の鉗子である.ドイツで開発され,2006年末より日本へ導入されている.段階的に改良が加えられており,発展途上の鉗子であるが,自由度の高い先端の動きを生み出す基本メカニズムは現行の型でもきわめて完成度が高い.本稿ではRadius Surgical Systemの機能だけでなく,そのメカニズムを図解・詳述し,さらに当院での臨床応用の現況を紹介する.
Radius Surgical System is categorized as a mechanical manual manipulator for endoscopic surgery. It equips gear-transmission for its main mechanism and does not require any electric energy, enabling more degrees of freedom at the tip of the device by surgeon's manual manipulation. Radius Surgical System was developed in Germany and introduced to Japan in the end of 2006. Although it has been modified step by step and is now developing, its basic mechanism at present is high quality. In this article, not only the function of Radius Surgical System, but also the details of the system's construction are described. In addition, our clinical results of the system are demonstrated.
