バイオマーカーには多くのものが考えられている.分析化学,生化学のエビデンスとともに,臨床成績の裏付けのあるものが望ましい.レドックス感受性脂質の初期酸化産物である脂質ヒドロペルオキシドは,酸化ストレスの好適なバイオマーカーである.血清PCOOH(ホスファチジルコリン ヒドロペルオキシド)値は,心筋症,動脈硬化,糖尿病,高脂血症の酸化傷害マーカーであり,皮表SQOOH(スクワレン ヒドロペルオキシド)は生活環境下での皮膚酸化の鋭敏なマーカーである.
Although there are many biomarker candidates for health promotion, only the markers that are well established for their selectivities and sensitivities in analytical chemistry, biochemistry and especially in clinical researches are preferred. Lipid hydroperoxide, an initial oxidation product of redox-sensitive membrane lipids, is one of the most suitable biomarkers of in vivo oxidative stress. Serum PCOOH (phosphatidylcholine hydroperoxide) is an oxidative stress biomarker for cardiomyopathy, atherosclerosis, diabetes, and hyperlipidemic conditions SQOOH (squalene hydroperoxide) is an another oxidative stress biomarker of human skin and is an singlet molecular oxygen-mediated oxidation product found in human forehead skin under sunlight-exposure.
