  • Look Inside

A 67-year-old male complained of dysacousis, dizziness and tinnitus. The examinations suggested intracranial disorders and paroxysmal dysacousis. These symptoms were relieved soon, but recurred and accompanied with central nervous signs. Circulatory insufficiency of the vertebral-basilar artery was diagnosed. In older persons, dysacousis and dizziness might be warning signs, even though peripheral signs were found. Thus, it is important to pay a special attention to these symptoms for prevention of cerebral apoplexy.
