I.緒言
Deafness concomitant with mumps has been well known. This report presents interesting cases of unilateral deafness due to mumps occurred in one family. A 4-year-old body initially developed hearing impairment, and the right ear was found totally deaf, though conductive hearing-loss was seen on the left ear. During treatment of the boy, his father was infected with mumps resulting in unilateral perceptive deafness. The frequency of deafness in case of mumps was discussed.
