  • Look Inside

There are many reports of Schwannoma occuring in the cervical portion, but Horner's syndrome before surgical treatment is rarely accompanied.

A 75-year-old woman complained of a gradual enlargement of a painless mass in the right cervical portion. On examination, miosis of the right eye was present, and pulsation was felt on the tumor. The mass was surgically extirpated and confirmed as Schwannoma pathologically, so it was assumed that the Schwannoma might arise from the cervical sympathetic nerve.
