Chromosomal analysis of successively cultured human cancerous cells derived from squamous cell carcinoma of the maxillary sinus is reported. The chromosomal number and karyotyping of the col-chine-treated and band-stained cells were as follows:

 Chromosomal number:

The chromosomal numbers registered 58, regardless of the generation from which the number was determined. However, with the 25th generation, the distribution of the number was narrowed to some extent as when compared to the 5th generation.

 Karyotyping:

Groups A, B, C and E carried trisomy while, group G or more precisely No. 22 carried a monsomy. All karyotypes were shown to have several marker chromosomes.
