扁桃の生化学的側面—最近のアミノ酸に関する研究から

CONSIDERATION OF THE TONSILS FROM THE STANDPOINT PHYSIOLOGICAL CHEMISTRY: RECENT STUDIES ON THE CONTENT OF AMINO ACID

　I．はじめに

　最近の扁桃に関する生化学的研究の中から，扁桃内成分としてのアミノ酸および血中アミノ酸の動態を中心に述べる。習慣性および病巣性扁桃炎患者における尿蛋白出現の認められるものは，比較的多いことは衆知の如くである。蛋白質を構成している個々のアミノ酸が扁桃組織内でどの様に分布しているのであろうか。またそれらのアミノ酸が，病的な扁桃においていかなる動態を示し，誘発刺激でどの様に変化するかを検討した。すでに扁桃炎に関するアミノ酸の研究は，1970年西ドイツのWilke^1）が，ペーパー・クロマトグラフィーを用いて分析した結果，病巣扁桃組織にてアスパラギン酸低下，フェニルアラニンの上昇などを挙げ，その診断への応用を示唆した。今回，私どもは全自動アミノ酸分析器を使用する事によりさらに，知見が得られたのでその成績をまとめるとともに，扁桃炎診断への応用について言及する。

　By means of employing amino acid autoanalyzer 26 types of ninhydrin positive elements were recognized and determined in the tonsillar tissues. It is, also, pointed out that Wilke's report, that in the infected tonsillar tissues there are decrease in the amount of asparagenic acid along with that of hydroxyproline and γ-aminoacid, highly facilitated making a clinical diagnosis. Another aid along this line is the increase of proline in the circulating blood 3 hours after the exposure of the tonsillar tissues to ultrashort wave.
