髄膜脳瘤を伴う非外傷性髄液漏の1例

NON-TRAUMATIC CEREBROSPINAL FLUID RHINORRHOEA

　I．はじめに

　髄液漏は水様鼻漏と酷似するため鑑別診断を誤まり重大な結果をまねくことがある。

　一般に外傷や手術に起因する髄液漏は既往歴などから診断は比較的容易である。しかし，頭部外傷や鼻副鼻腔手術などの既往歴がないときには，髄液鼻漏をアレルギー性鼻炎や，いわゆる"風邪"による鼻漏と診断することが少なくない^{2）3）4）9）26）}。

　A case of spontaneous cerebrospinal fluid rhinorrhoea accompanied by cerebrospinal membrane tumor is reported. The patient was a male infant 18 months old affected with constant flow of fluid rhinorrhoea from one nostril, which also showed a large polypoid growth. Laboratory examination of the nasal fluid showed a positive glucose oxidase test and its further chemical analysis showed an agreement with that of the cerebrospinal fluid.

　The source of the cerebral fluid leak was confirmed by cerebral surgery.
