タンタラム粉末による上咽頭造影の試み

TANTALUM RADIOGRAPHY OF THE NASOPHARYNX

　Ⅰ．序言

　従来Nasopharyngogramは液体造影剤を用い，患者を仰臥位にさせて造影していた。1971年Nadelら^8）はタンタラム粉末を造影剤としてLaryngogramを撮影し，鈴木ら^11）はこれを喉頭狭窄の症例に用いて，狭窄部や天蓋様部分の造影に利点のあることを述べている。鈴木らの検討によるとタンタラム粉末は粘膜への吸着力もよく，簡単な器械の工夫によつて逆行性に上方への噴霧が可能であることが大きな利点であるため，われわれは経口的に中咽頭より逆行性に上咽頭にタンタラム粉末を噴霧して，上咽頭の造影を試みた。

　Liquid contrast media has been generally used in nasopharyngography, but some of the disadvantages of its use may be pointed out as that the patients are required to be in the restricted posture during the procedure and because of that position the radiographs can be taken only in lateral and axial projections.

　Tantalum powder is used as the contrast media.

　The advantages of the method are as follows:

　1. It is possible to take a radiograph in every projection.

　2. No uncomfortable feeling is felt by the patient during the procedure.

　3. The procedure is rather simple.
