急性喉頭・気管・気管支炎の2症例

LARYNGO-TRACHEO-BRONCHITIS A REPORT OF TWO CASES

　Ⅰ．緒言

　急性喉頭気管支炎については，欧米で種々報告されており，特に，Jackson^1）はBrennemannのPractice of Pediatrics（1954）の中でAcute infective Laryngotracheobronchitisとしてその定義，病因，症候，予後，続発症，治療などについて詳しく記載している。わが国では，類似の病像を呈する疾患についての報告が時々見られるが，急性喉頭気管気管支炎として報告されたものは見あたらないようである。われわれは，急性に呼吸困難を訴えて来院し，その喉頭および気管の所見からJacksonその他の欧米の学者^2）3）のいう急性喉頭気管気管支炎と思われる2症例に遭遇したので，ここに報告し，考察を加えたいと思う。

　Two cases of laryngo-tracheo-bronchitis that occurred in boys aged 6 and 14 respectively, are reported. This disease has a tendency to occur in winter-months when other acute infectous diseases are prevalent and the prognosis is very poor. The treatment should be directed towards proper maintenance of air-passage supplemented by adequate supply of oxygen inhalation. Tracheotomy should be performed early in the course of the disease at an opportune moment. In these cases one boy recovered but the other died.
