純音精密聴力検査に際し考慮すべき事項

　純音聴力検査法は我国に於いても数年来の研究により漸く成果を得たが最近は更にretrocochlearの内耳より上位に病？があると思われる疾患の鑑別診断其他の目的で1db step. 或は更にこまかい特殊な精密聴力検査法が行われる様になつた。所がこの様なprecise audiometryとなると今迄にみられなかつた種々の現象が起り，この為に真の閾値決定が妨げられ或は迷わされることがある。これらの項目は生理的，心理的の現象が多いが挙げると次の如くになる。

　1．Adaptation

　Recently more and more demands are being placed on the puretone hearing tests for accuracy and specificity in diagnosis and localization of the lesion in loss of hearing. Conditions that were, heretofore, regarded as without any special note or phenomena that may be newly confronted would now, interfere with determinations of the hearing thresholds. These are namely, adaptation, auditory fatigue, retroactive masking, auditory afterimage, after effects of sound stimuli, facilitation, auditory sensitization and atonal interval. Among this list there are facts that have been well known in the past but it is important to recongnize the newly developed ones in order to carry out a proper methods in research.
