慢性中耳炎手術後の側頭骨2例

　緒言

　側頭蜂巣に関しては，その発達め個人的差異の原因，形成過程，炎症に於ける態度，生理学的意義等に就て，各方面から研究されているが，未だ不明の点も少くなく，中耳炎手術後の術創の状態，殊に手術時遺残された蜂集粘膜は如何なる変化，反応を未すかに就ての報告は殆んどない。此の問題は手術自身及び後療法にも大きな関係があり，又術後の蜂巣の再生を知る上にも重要なものである。之等の点に就ては，いずれ発表する予定であるが，今回は中耳炎手術後の人側頭骨2個に就て組織学的所見の大要を報告しようと思う。

Toda and associates report on observations made upon histopathological structures of tem-poral bones which were operated for radical mastoidectomy. quite recently. Two patients died; one after 2 months of radical mastoidec-tomy and the other after 1 month of similar operation. The temporal bones in these pa-tients were studied histologically concerning the state of granulation tissues, air cells, and the way in which epithelization may progress. That the air cells are formed by process of epithlization is reaffirmed which is similar to the state in which this structure is developed in the post-natal period. The authors maintain that, it has been shown from this study that, epithelization forms the basis re-establishment of air cells in the temporal bone following an operation.
