全気道ヂフテリー症例

　緒言

　鼻，咽頭，喉頭，気管，気管支と気道全般にわたるヂフテリーの症例報告は比軽的少いのであるが，最近私は4歳の女子のヂフテリーにて，気管支細枝にまで厚い偽膜を形成し死後剖見により樹枝状の偽膜を証明し得た例を経験したので其の概略を報告する。

YOSHIDA reports a case of diphtheria that resulted in formation of membrane covering the tonsils, larynx and the entire trachea down to and slightly beyond its bifurcation. The child, aged 4, was operated upon for tracheotomy immediately after the initial consultation beca-use of the dyspnea caused by the presence of membrane in the throat. Tracheal membrane was found consequent to tracheotomy. Various therapeutic agents, such as, 10,000 units ofdiphtheria antitoxin, 500 cc of Ringer's solution as well as heart stimulants were administered but,the child died 3 days after its admission to the hospital.
