急性グリツペ喉頭炎の4例

　Ⅰ．諸言

　従来，喉頭のPerichondritis acuta，或はakutes Glottisödem等と症候的な病名で呼ばれて来た喉頭疾患は，その喉頭所見が悪性腫瘍，結核等との鑑別が甚だ困難であり，しかも発生頻度が比較的高い重要疾患であるにもかかわらず，独立して認められず，その検討も等閑に附されていた感があつた。1940年Hütterothは初めて本症に"akute Grippelaryngitis"なる独立した病名を冠し，次いで1952年Loebell^1）は同症8例につき詳細な報告を行つた。しかしその病因についてはただ感冒によるものであると言う記載があるのみで"何故感冒によつて限局性の浮腫性炎症が喉頭に発生するか"の機転に関しては未だ言及されるに至らない。余等は昭和27年11月より，29年6月までの期間の4例につき，特にその病因に関して考察を行い，併せて治療につき新知見を得たのでここに報告する。

　SHINTAKU and KATSURA report 4 cases of laryngeal grippe. The disease is characterized by symptoms of sore throa and dssphagia due to inflammatory edema of the epiglottis and the bdse of the tongue. Etiologically it is a virus disease which runs a course of about 2 weeks with good prognosis. Howeuer, consideration of the affection must be made in oll seriousness because elimination of malignancy and tuberculosis is required to establish the diagnosis.
