頭蓋底骨折に依る鼻出血が主なる死因と思われた1剖檢例

　頭蓋底骨折に関する報告は外科，眼科領域に於て，多くの学者に依り報告されているが，我が耳鼻科領域に於ても，久保（猪）教授，立木教授，花田氏等の報告がある。然し最近では其報告も余り見られず，特に我が国に於て頭蓋底骨折の剖検例に就いては，我が耳鼻科領域では未だ其報告に接しない。最近私共は頭蓋底骨折に依る鼻出血が主なる死因と思われる1剖検例を経験したので，茲に報告する。

TAKEDA and KAWAKITA report necropsy findings on a man, aged 31, who died of basal fracture of the skull. The outstanding symp-tom at the time of injury was profuse epis-taxis. The skull fracture proved to be a lesion in the cavernous sinus which extended into the sphenoidals and over which area was found blood clot measuring 4.4×2.4cm.
