放射線療法を施行せる耳下腺惡性腫瘍の5例

　緒言

　唾液腺中耳下腺は腫瘍の最も発生し易い場所であつて其の過半數を占めている．而して大部分は混合腫であつてこれの報告は洋の東西を問わず極めて多數にのぼつて居る．しかして其の多くは良性腫瘍の態度を取るのであるが時には惡性化する場合もある．

　私は最近5例の耳下腺惡性腫瘍を経驗したので此処に報告して諸賢の御批判を仰ぎたいと思う次第である．

Nakagawa reports 5 cases of the malignancy of parotid glands in patients whose ages ranged from 54 years to 62 years, excepting one who was 17 years of age. Sex differences were divid-ed among 1 male and 4 females. The size of the tumors ranged from that of pigeon's egg to hen's-egg those of hen's. In each case the tumor wasremoved by operation and followed with radi-um irradiation as after-treamtment the amount of which ranging from 3360 mg st to 21750 mg st. Besides radium two cases were supplemented with 10 cm and 15 cm each of radon seeds and the third with 4500 r of X-rays. Case 1 was cur-ed after 1 year of treatment; Case 2 lived 12 years after the operation; case 3 is alive in the 4th year of treatment; case 4, alive 5 years of treatment; and, case 5, still alive in the 20th year of treatment.
