血管内塞栓術により治療したガレン大静脈瘤の1例

Transarterial embolization of a vein of Galen aneurysm:a case report

I．はじめに

　ガレン大静脈瘤は治療困難な血管奇形のひとつである．われわれはコイルを用い経動脈血管内塞栓術を施行したガレン大静脈瘤を経験したので文献的考察を加え報告する．

This report describes a case of a vein of Galen aneu-rysm.

A 6-month-old baby with a slight head injury was re-ferred to our hospital. CT scans and MR images de-monstrated a vein of Galen aneurysm. Left carotid angiogram showed a vein of Galen aneurysm with a large feeding artery from the posterior cerebral artery. Transarterial embolization was performed using Galen coils and Interlocking Detachable Coils. Angiograms af-ter the second embolization revealed complete occlusion of the aneurysm and postoperative coure was unevent-ful.
