新生児脳腫瘍の1治験例

Brain Tumor in the Neonatal Period:A Case Report and the Review of the Literature

Ⅰ．はじめに

　小児脳腫瘍の中で新生児脳腫瘍は非常にまれである．しかしその腫瘍の発生部位や組織像が特異的であること，すでに胎生期に発生していること，先天奇形との合併率が高いことなどから，脳腫瘍の発生過程に興味をもって報告されている^2,26）．一方，新生児脳腫瘍の予後はかなり悲観視され，満足な外科的治療にいたる報告は少ない．このたび，脳室内出血にて発症し，生後25日目の新生児脳腫瘍を亜全摘し，術後17カ月の現在も経過良好な症例を経験したので報告する．

A 25-day-old male infant with astrocytoma, Grade 2 in the lateral ventricle, successfully treated is presented.

He started vomiting at the age of four days. Subsequently, presenting enlarged head and bloody C.S.F. noted by a pediatrician at the age of 12 days.
