いわゆる那須病（Membranous Lipodystrophy）の一般病理

General pathology or Nasu's disease

I．緒言

　本症は，最も著明にしかも比較的早期に出現する骨病変部の光学顕微鏡的組織像を基盤にして，一つの疾患単位が特徴づけられたものである。すなわち那須が1958年当時26歳男子の脛骨骨折部の生検組織において，光顕的に奇妙な膜状構造物が微小嚢胞を形成しながら無数に出現している所見に遭遇し，1970年患者の剖検により新しい疾患として枠づけ，membranous lipodystrophy（膜形成脂質異栄養症あるいは膜性脂質ジストロフィー）と命名したものである。この疾患のいま一つの特色である脳変化に関しては，神経病理学者の記述に俟つとして，ここでは本症の一般病理という主題の下に，その特徴的病変の出現状況や分布，病変の性状と特異性，さらに病変の実験的生成などについて，現在までに得られた知見を概説し，本症の発生病理について現在の見解を述べる。

Abstract

A new disease named membranous lipodystro-phy or Nasu's disease is characterized by peculiar membranocystic degeneration of fat tissues of bone marrow in the long bones of the extremities as well as fat tissues of other visceral organs, and leucodystrophy of the brain. This disease is most frequently detected in the orthopedic service because of its characteristic bone changes. This disease is classified into two groups: One is bone type where bone symptoms are more prominent and the other is cerebral type where cerebral symptoms are relatively marked.
