  • Look Inside

Colchicine and vinblastine are known as mitotic inhibitor and it disrupts microtubules at low concentration, in vitro and in vivo. Recently, microtubules in nerve cells has been considered to be related to a number of nervous activities. This review will attempt to show the effect of colchicine and vinblastine in nervous system, such as electrophysiological processing, morphological change, autoradiographic analysis, behavior and learning, and macromolecular synthesis.
