Ⅰ．まえおき

　Neuro-Behçet症候群の病理組織像に関する従来の記載は報告者によりさまざまであり画一的ではない。かつて著者は自験例の報告と文献例とをあわせて考察を加えたが^8），なお十分な結論は得られなかった。最近，さらに2例の自験例を検索する機会を得たので，あわせて検討し，本症候群の神経病理学的なcriteriaをある程度明確にしたいと思う。

　Neuropathological entity of Neuro-Behçet's syndrome is described as follows: The predilectionsarea in the central nervous system covers the midbrain, pons and medulla oblongata, and upward it extends to the diencephalon, internal capsule and temporal lobe, and downward to the spinal cord.
