The senile plaque amyloid originating in the blood vessel.

I．はじめに

　アルツハイマー病の脳に見出される老人斑（SP）や神経原線維変化（NFT）は，他の疾患や生理的老化脳にも見出される。しかし，アルツハイマー病においてはSPとNFTの両病変がきわめて多数，同時に出現することから，SPとNFTはアルツハイマー病に最も重要な所見とみなされている。

　アミロイドはSPを構成する主要な成分であるが，これが一体どのようなメカニズムで生成されるのであろうか。このことについては現在まで諸説が提唱されてきているが，いずれも確証はなく，一致した結論が得られるに至っていないのが現状である。

The origination of the amyloid in the senile plaque has not yet been fully clarified. There are many hypotheses such as blood vessel origin, neuron origin and microglial cell origin regarding the senile plaque amyloid production.

In the present paper, mainly the mechanism of the senile plaque amyloid oiginating in the blood vessel was morphologically described according to our data.
