腎血管造影検査施行後に発生した肺塞栓症

A CASE OF RENAL CELL CARCINOMA (RCC) DIED OF PULMONARY EMBOLISM AFTER ANGIOGRAPHY

　健康診断にて左腎の異常を指摘された，73歳男性。尿路系精査にて左腎細胞癌と診断し腎血管造影検査施行，安静解除24時間後に突然の呼吸困難およびショック状態となり死亡した。原因としては，絶対安静と血管の圧迫およびカテーテル操作等で発症した急性肺塞栓症によるものと考えられた。

In a 73 year-old man with RCC was performed angiography. After 24 hours dyspnoea, chest pain and shock developed suddenly and plumonary embolism (PE) was suspected. PE is not so popular in Japan but recently the incidence is increasing. Clinical manifestation and the first step in the treatment of PE and prevention of PE is discussed.
