71歳，男性。左陰嚢部の発赤腫脹，疼痛および38度の発熱を主訴に当科受診。ピペラシリンによる化学療法により解熱したが陰嚢皮膚は自潰する一方，発赤，皮下膿瘍が鼠径部から左下腹部に波及した。Fournier壊疽と診断し陰嚢から左下腹部にかけて開放創とし，術後24日目創部正常肉芽となり完治した。
A 71-year-old man with high grade fever, reddish swollen and painful scrotum was admitted to our hospital. After receiving antibiotic therapy, a fever deceased, but the scrotum skin developed necrosis and left abdominal wall became reddish with fever. We made the diagnosis of Fournier's gangrene and the patient received open drainage from scrotum to left lower abdomen. After this treatment, the patient showed good clinical course.
