　膀胱癌と腎癌に合併した肺塞栓症の2例を報告した。症例1は56歳の膀胱癌患者。浸潤性の移行上皮癌で，左閉鎖腔に転移巣が疑われた。化学療法後に膀胱全摘除術を施行。術後第14病日に急死し，剖検で本症と診断された。症例2は60歳の多発性転移巣を有する進行性腎癌患者。経過観察中に，臨床的に本症と診断し，治療で回復し得た。化学療法施行後や進行癌の症例では本症の発症を念頭に置くことが重要であることを示した。

Two cases of massive pulmonary embolism associated with bladder cancer and renal cell cancer were reported.

Case 1 : A 56-year-old man with transitional cell carcinoma of the urinary bladder, G3, pT2 received preoperative combination chemotherapy and subsequently underwent radical cystectomv. On day 14. the patient had sudden chest pain. dyspnea and loss of consciousness. Patient died 4 hours later and postmortum examination revealed massive bilateral pulmonary embolism. Case 2 : A 60-year-old man with wide-spread metastasis from renal cell carcinoma was admitted because of chest pain and dyspnea.
