Stamey手術のナイロン糸の膀胱穿通

A CASE OF VESICAL PERFORATING SUTURE USED AT THE STAMEY PROCEDURE FOUR AND A HALF YEARS AGO

　女子腹圧性尿失禁に対して4年半前にStamey手術を受けた患者が，尿潜血の精査目的に受診した。膀胱鏡にて膀胱右側壁を穿通する糸とそれに伴う線状潰瘍を認めた。Stamey手術に用いた右の糸が膀胱穿通したものと考え，下腹部小切開にて除去したが，尿失禁は再発しなかった。Stamey手術の糸の膀胱穿通は，晩期合併症としても注意が必要である。

A seventy-year-old female who had underwent the Stamey endoscopic bladder neck suspension four and a half years before, was admitted to our hospital with asymptomatic microscopic hematuria. Endoscopic examination revealed a perforating suture with a mucosal inflammatory reaction at the right vesical wall. She remained totally continent after the removal of the suture.
