　我々は特に緊急の治療を必要とする急性腎後性腎不全患者に対し，短期または長期留置を考慮した2段階方式による簡易腎瘻造設術を考案した．超音波穿刺プローブのみを用いるため，腎盂内への挿入確認と操作時の腎実質，腎盂尿管粘膜の損傷に対して配慮したガイドワイヤー，および迅速な挿入，尿の通過性，患者の快適性を重視した留置カテーテルを作製した．この方法による腎瘻術を13症例に施行した結果，顕著な副作用もなく，全例に効果的であった．

For emergency treatment of acute post-renal failure, we developed simple nephrostomy procedure either on short-or long-term basis which consists of a two-stage system. Because only an ultrasonic puncture probe is used for this technique, we directed special attention in developing the guide wire and indwelling catheter with following points in mind. The guide wire introduced into the renal pelvis should not damage the renal parenchyma and pyeloureteral mucosa. Prompt insertion of catheter with excellent urinary passage and patients' comfort were attained.
