　対側腎に腎機能障害を有する腎癌症例2例に対しDMSA腎シンチグラフィーを施行し，術前に部分切除術後の残存腎機能を予測した。その結果，術後1カ月での腎摂取率実測値は予測値より低値を示したが，術後4カ月以上における実測値と予測値との差は予測値の10％以内であった。DMSA腎シンチグラフィーは腎部分切除術前の術後残存腎機能評価に有用であると思われた。

We experienced two patients with renal cell carcinoma who had renal dysfunction in the contralateral kidney. By using ^99mTc-DMSA renal scintigraphy, we estimated, preoperatively, the remnant renal function at partial nephrectomy. The measured values of DMSA renal uptake were lower than the predicted ones at one month after operation. But the measured values coincided with the predicted ones within the error of 10% over four months. This method was considered to be useful for the estimation of remnant renal function at partial nephrectomy.
