カテーテル留置の腎瘻または尿管瘻の13例に腸管を利用した尿路変更へ再変更したところ，大多数の症例で，尿路の合併症が軽減し，日常生活が活動的になつた。
Thirteen patients with a permanent nephrostomy or ureterostomy underwent construction of an intestinal conduit in order to remove the indwelling catheter. After the operation their daily lives became active and urinary tract complications were lessened in most patients.
