Transcatheter embolizationにより治癒せる腎切石術後の腎動静脈瘻の1例

SUCCESSFUL TREATMENT OF THE RENAL ARTERIOVENOUS FISTULA AFTER NEPHROLITHOTOMY BY TRANSCATHETER EMBOLIZATION: A CASE REPORT

緒言

　われわれは最近，腎切石術後に発生した腎動静脈瘻に対して瘻支配動脈の超選択的塞栓術を施行し，これを治癒せしめたのでここに報告するとともに，腎動静脈瘻に対するtranscatheter emboli-zationについて若干の考察を加えたい。

Embolization of renal arteriovenous fistula after nephrolithotomy was reported in a 32 year-old male.

Follow-up arteriography after 7 months demonstrated persistent complete closure of the arteriovenous fistula. No serious complication was noted after embolization, and the patient became free of hematuria.

Successful arterial embolization of intrarenal fistula is desirable in stead of nephrectomy in the treatment of postoperative arteriovenous fistula.
