緒言
日和見感染症（opportunistic infection）の起炎菌の一つとしてSerratia marcescensは近年注目されている。われわれは腹部打撲による鈍的腎外傷後，感染腎よりSerratia marcescens（以下S．marces-cens）による敗血症を併発し腎摘除を余儀なくされた症例を経験したので報告し，S．marcescens感染症に関し若干の考察を行なつた。
A case of Serratia marcescens septicemia subsequent to blunt renal trauma was reported.
A 14 year-old school boy was suffered from blunt renal trauma at an athletic meeting with macro-scopic hematuria. DIP showed delayed excretion of medium from the middle and lower calyces of the right kidney suggesting urinary extravasation.
The patient had been treated conservatively for a few days since clinical condition was stable.
However, chill, spiked fever and gross hematuria developed on 6th post hospitalization day.
