精嚢腺の機能，とくに吸収作用と分泌作用について

THE PROBLEM OF ABSORPTIVE AND SECRETIVE FUNCTION OF THE SEMINAL VESICLE

緒言

　精嚢腺の機能は不明の点が多く，古くは精子を貯蔵する器官であると考えられていた。しかし，Beemら¹）はラットおよびヒトの精嚢腺を結紮して取り出し，内容物に精子が認められなかつたことから，精嚢腺は精子を貯蔵する器官ではないことを明らかにした。現在では精嚢腺の主な作用は吸収作用と分泌作用にあるとする考えが有力である。吸収作用についてはBattke²）は精嚢腺から¹³¹Iが取りこまれることから，またLindblomら³）は精嚢腺に注入した造影剤が消褪することからその存在を主張している。しかし，造影剤の消褪は精嚢腺の分泌液とともに造影剤が尿道に排泄されたためとも考えられ，この問題に関しては未だ定説がない。

　今回われわれは造影剤の消褪を中心として精嚢腺の分泌作用および吸収作用を動物実験とヒトの精嚢腺造影において検討したので報告する。

Mostly the absorbtion and secretion function of the seminal vesicles were studied by spermatovesiculo-graphy in human and experimental animals.

The experiment was done by ligating one side of the rat seminal vesicle after injecting dye into both seminal vesicle. Swelling of the seminal vesicle and decreased concentration of the dye in the ligated side were found. The water soluble contrast medium, injected for spermatography in both human and animal completely disapears from the seminal vesicle after 3 days but by oil contrast medium, it still remains after 3 days, and are partly remained after 2 months.
