胸内腎

THORACIC KIDNEY

　生存中に診断しえた胸内腎は，著者らの調べえた範囲内では，現在までに59例（第1表）が各国から報告されており，わが国では1961年の林の1例をみるにすぎない。Simple unilateral ectopickidneyが500〜700例に1例見出されるのに対し，本症は非常に稀なものといえる。著者らは2例の胸内腎を経験したので若干の考察を加え報告する。

Two cases of thoracic kidney, one with diaphragmatic hernia and one with diaphragmatic cventration, were reported.

Case 1: A 28 year old man was admitted to Tachikawa Kyosai Hospital with a tumor-like shadow on his chest x-ray taken during physical examination. He had no symptom or sign related to the mass and his laboratory tests were all negative. Drip IVP with retroperitoneal pneumography and abdominal aortography confirmed the mass as a thoracic kidney (left) with diaphragmatic hernia.
