前立腺肥大症症例の術後尿路感染の推移

TRANSITION OF POSTOPERATIVE URINARY TRACT INFECTION IN THE BENIGN PROSTATIC HYPERTROPHY

Ⅰ．緒言

　前立腺肥大症の手術成績，ならびにその術後合併症についての報告は文献上かなりみられる。術後合併症のうちで，尿路感染はかなり長期間持続するといわれ，術後管理上1つの課題とされている。

　そこで，我々は昭和31年1月より昭和43年6月までの過去12年6ヵ月間の当教室における前立腺肥大症の術後尿路感染の推移について観察したので，その結果を報告するとともに若干の考察を加える。

The survey on transition on postoperative urinay infection on 149 cases of benign prostatic hyperplasia, which was collected from our clinic in the last 12 years and 6 months between January 1956 and June 1968. The number of postoperative urinay infection of 41 cases of suprapubic prostatectomy were 38, 1 month after surgery, 21 cases out of 25, 2 months postoperatively and 11 cases out of 14, 3 months later. There were 54 cases of postoperative urinary infections out of 59 cases of retropubic prostatectomy, 1 month later, 24 out of 35 cases, 2 months later and 11 out of 16 cases 3 months after surgery.
