Balanitis xerotica obliteransの5例—その類似疾患と定義に対する考察

FIVE CASES OF BALANITIS XEROTICA OBLITERANS WITH SPECIAL REFERANCE TO DIAGNOSTIC ENIGMA AND ITS DEFINITION

Ⅰ．はじめに

　本疾患は1928年Stühmer^41）が包茎手術後に亀頭包皮炎を起こし，その結果，亀頭や包皮に萎縮と瘢痕化を呈し，外尿道口の狭窄を生ずるものに対してBalanitis xerotica obliterans postoperationemと命名し，臨床的に独立疾患として発表したものである。その後本症も数多く報告されており，本邦においても森本^31）（1951）の報告以来現在までに24例の報告を認める。最近我々は5例の本症を経験したので，ここに報告するとともに木症の類似疾患と定義について若干の考察を加え，私見を述べる。

5 cases of balanitis xerotica obliterans were reported. The age ranged between 41 and 68 and 2 cases of the 5 had a past history of surgery for phimosis. Histopathological examination of the urethra and glans revealed a type with edema of the epithelial cells of the glans, proliferation type (leucoplakia) and atrophic type (kraurosis), but all of them showed keratosis at the external urethral orifice with stricture. The literature and these cases were discussed. The nature of this disease still remains unknown but many authers seem to consider this disease separately from leucoplakia penis.
