　2000年度から2004年度の5年間に市立豊中病院泌尿器科で手術室を利用して施行した1,753件の手術統計を行った。臓器別では膀胱が741件で最も多かった。

　We reviewed the 5 years' statistics of surgical treatments performed at Department of Urology, Toyonaka Municipal Hospital between April 2000 and May 2004. A total 1,753 surgeries were performed, excluding extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy（ESWL）and transrectal prostate needle biopsy. 741 operations（42％）were performed on the bladder, 253 operations performed on the prostate and 162 surgeries were performed on the ureter. There were only 5 laparoscopic surgeries, however the number of laparoscopic surgeries will presumably increase in future.
