　Fredricksonら^1）2）が血清脂質の転送にあずかるリポ蛋白の異常値より家族性高脂血症を5型に分類して以来，その皮膚表現たる黄色腫はその血清リポ蛋白異常により分類が行なわれるようになつた．

　今回われわれは20歳女子で臨床的には結節性血色腫を呈し，血清脂質分析でコレステロール血症並びにβリポ蛋白の高値を示し，Fredrickson家族性高脂血症分類II型にあたると思われる1例を経験したのでここに報告する．

This is a report of a case of tuberous xanthoma in a 20-year-old woman with familial hyperlipoproteinemia type II.

Plasma lipid analysis showed an increase in cholesterol and high β-band of lipoprotein.

A linoleic acid derivative was used to improve plasma cholesterol value, because the fatty acid composition of plasma cholesterol ester showed a very low linoleic acid fraction, but the cutaneous xanthomas failed to disappear and the hypercholesteremia was not controlled, regardless of the improvement of linoleic acid fraction of plasma cholesterol ester.
