  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

Case 1 : A 33-year-old man, the second reported case of congenical arteriovenous fistula in Japan, showed a murmur and pulsation on the affected leg. The arteriogram was typical and showed cystically enlarged abnormal arteriovenous anastomoses.

The ulcer was cured rapidly by the operation to close the fistula,

Case 2 : A 31-year-old man of Behçet's disease had stasis ulcer. The venogram revealed thrombosis of the femoral and axillary veins. He had varicose veins over the entire body surface as well as the typical symptoms of Behçet's disease.

Adrenocortical steroids showed beneficial effect on the ulcer. This was the second reported case of stasis ulcer due to deep venous thrombosis in Behçet's disease.
