慢性活動性EBウイルス感染により発症したと考えられる小児悪性リンパ腫症例

Malignant Lymphoma with Chronic EBV Infection of the Tonsils

　はじめに

　EBウイルスが鼻腔T細胞性悪性リンパ腫の発症に関与していることは知られているが^1〜6），扁桃原発の悪性リンパ腫に関与したとする報告は少ない。われわれは，活動性EBウイルス感染のあった5年後に悪性リンパ腫を口蓋扁桃に発症した7歳，女児の症例を経験した。EBウイルス感染により血球貧食群に陥っていた。扁桃炎と腫瘍の関係は不明だが，EBウイルスが悪性リンパ腫の発症に密接に関係していると考えられた。

Although it is known that EBV could contributeto nasal T cell malignant lymphoma (ML), few reports of malignant lymphoma of the tonsil have been published.

A 7-year-old girl has been followed up for her tonsillitis due to EBV infection for five years, then she developed ML and hemophagocytic syndrome. The relation between infection of the tonsils and ML remains nuclear, but EBV is certainly related to lymphoma.
