喉頭（声門下）腺様嚢胞癌の1例

A Case of Laryngeal (Subglottic) Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma

　はじめに

　喉頭に発生する悪性腫瘍は，そのほとんどが扁平上皮癌であり腺様嚢胞癌の発生の報告は文献的にも稀とされている。今回われわれが渉猟しえた範囲では，本邦では20例の報告があるに過ぎない。最近われわれは，声門下腔に発症した腺様嚢胞癌の症例を経験したので，その臨床経過を紹介し若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

Adenoid cystic carcinoma of the larynx is very rare and only twenty cases have been reported in the Japanese literature.

A 59-year-woman developed hoarseness of four-teen months duration.

Fiberscopic examintion of the larynx revealed a smooth mass involving the subglottic area. An ex-cisional biopsy was performed with laryngomi-crosurgical techniques. The pathological diagnosis was adenoid cystic carcinoma.

The patient underwent a total laryngectomy, and she has been well for the last sixteen months with no evidence of recurrence or metastasis.
