三叉神経障害例のティンパノグラム

Tympanogram of the Mandibular Nerve Disturbance

　緒言

　三叉神経は，知覚神経および運動神経の両者よりなる混合神経である。三叉神経障害を評価する症状としては，患側顔面の知覚鈍麻が代表的なものとして知られ，三叉神経運動枝障害に関する検討は，これまで十分には行われていない。今回われわれぱ，顔面の知覚障害があり頭蓋内病変の確認された三叉神経障害例に対して，ティンパノメトリーを施行し，興味ある所見を得た。ティンパノメトリーが，ひとつの三叉神経運動枝障害の他覚的診断法と成り得る可能性があるものと考え報告する。

In three cases of the mandibular nerve distur-bance involving the motor root, tympanometry was perlbrmed. Two patients showed C types whereas one shifted from As to B type. In this case, serous exudate was confirmed by paracente-sis.

These abnormal tympanograms were caused by tenser veli palatini muscles disturbance due to trigeminal motor nerve damage.

It was found that tympanometry was useful in evaluating the motor function in the mandibular nerve disturbance.
