喉頭平滑筋肉腫の1症例

Leiomyosarcoma of the Larynx: Report of a Case

緒言

　喉頭に発生する悪性腫瘍のうち，肉腫は稀で，その発生頻度は喉頭癌の1％あるいはそれ以下とされている。なかでも平滑筋肉腫は極めて稀な疾患であり，われわれが渉猟した内外の文献上，18例の報告を数えるのみである。

　われわれは，喉頭平滑筋肉腫の1症例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加え報告する。

A 72 year-old male with leiomyosarcoma of the larynx was treated by reconstructive surgery by displacement of the false vocal cord after cordec-tomy with laryngo-fissure. His phonatory func-tion was satisfactory and no tumor recurrence or metastases have been noted during 5 months after surgery.

There were 18 cases of leiomyosarcoma of the larynx reported. Surgical removal was reported as successful in treatment of leiomyosarcomas. But further strict follow-up should be necessary, since recurrence or metastases often may first apear after several years.
