喉頭より発生した滑膜肉腫（synovial sarcoma）の1症例

Synovial Sarcoma of the Larynx

I．はじめに

　滑膜肉腫は滑膜，腱，腱鞘および関節包に生ずるまれな腫瘍で，男性にやや多く，好発年齢は20〜40歳である。発生部位は四肢がほとんどで，頭頸部領域に発生することはきわめて少なく，本邦ではその例をみない。今回われわれは喉頭より発生した滑膜肉腫の1症例に遭遇し治療する機会を得たので，若干の考察を含めて報告する。

A case of synovial sarcoma of the larynx in a 12-year-old male with a 2 months' history of snor-ing was reported. A yellow and oval-shaped, large mobile and pedunculated tumor, was found in the supraglottic region by laryngoscopy. The tumor, diagnosed as "synovial sarcoma" by biopsy, was extirpated by lateral pharyngotomy. The patient underwent pre- and post-operative chemo-therapy. Fourteen months postoperatively, he is healthy and shows no signs of recurrence.
